Inclusion and opportunity

The Inclusion Helpline is an advice and support telephone service which supports schools who need help including pupils within their provision. It is delivered by staff with experience in SEND and inclusion.

Contact the service on 01603 307736, from 8.30am to 4.30pm on Monday to Thursday and from 12.30pm to 4.30pm on Friday.

The team can undertake some visits to schools when more complex cases require pupil observations.

They can assist with suggesting strategies, reviewing risk management plans and curriculum provision for pupils who are finding accessing provision within mainstream schools difficult. In addition they are able to offer an Inclusion Audit that looks at whole school provision, where it is agreed this would be appropriate.

The team is co-located alongside the Virtual School for SEND, the Virtual School for Looked After, Previously Looked After and Adopted pupils, and works closely with the Norfolk STEPS team.

The team members are:

  • Vicki Setters – Senior Adviser for Inclusion
  • Charlotte Mason – Inclusion Partner
  • Dee Kirk – Inclusion Partner
