Post 16

The Post 16 Virtual School Team provides support to Norfolk children in care and care leavers who have moved on from statutory school age. We have a team of advisors who can offer impartial advice and guidance around next steps in education, employment or training to young people and the professionals working with them.

We have two specialist support officers (Post 16 and Post 18) who can offer in person coaching and mentoring as well as support with:

• CV writing
• Job searches/job applications
• Apprenticeship searches/apprenticeship applications
• Interview preparation
• Signposting to experiences of the workplace

The Post 16 team can signpost to sources of funding and to positive activities and local opportunities for young people who are currently not accessing and education, employment and training.
