Training you can access elsewhere
The Early Years Learning and Childcare team offers a comprehensive, and mostly fully funded, programme of professional development to Norfolk's early years and childcare workforce. However, there are further opportunities for practitioners to access training with other teams in Norfolk County Council or through external organisations.
DfE - Early Years Child Development Training
The Department for Education (DfE) offers free online early years child development training which is designed to build on and improve your understanding of child development. There are eight modules available which you can complete at your own pace, with average completion time around two hours per module.
Togetherness - Bringing the Solihull Approach to the world
Togetherness is a digital hub with free online learning pathways using the Solihull Approach. It's available for everyone who cares for children aged 0-18 years. It's there to help you recognise emotions in yourself and in children, and helps you to see how these emotions can impact on behaviour. Visit the Just One Norfolk website where you can obtain a code to join the hub for free.
