For Staff

The Norfolk Community Safety Partnership (NCSP) has launched the Safer Norfolk Survey, which is open from 22 June to 24 July 2026. While Norfolk remains one of the safest counties in England, this survey is a critical tool for gathering resident insights on local safety concerns to inform strategic priorities and collaborative action.

We need your support to hear the views of Norfolk's young people aged 13+. Schools and groups can access age appropriate activities via Safer Norfolk Survey 2026 - resources for schools:

  • Worksheets: Exercises are available to be printed as A4 individual worksheets or A3 sheets for group activities.
  • Support: The NCSP can provide printed and laminated sheets with stickers for group sessions upon request.
  • Submission: For each session, schools are asked to provide photos or scans of completed sheets, an estimate of the number of children involved, and their approximate age range.

Young people and adults can complete the survey online at Safer Norfolk Smart Survey.

Why it matters

The findings will help the NCSP understand emerging issues, target resources effectively, and improve access to services. Additionally, the survey process helps raise awareness by providing information on how to report crime and signposting available support.

The findings also provide valuable insight for schools that can help inform RSHE and wider Personal Development planning and support safeguarding.
