Ofsted/CQC Area SEND and Alternative Provision inspection on the horizon

Norfolk's Ofsted/CQC Area SEND and Alternative Provision inspection is expected between September and Christmas. Settings may be visited or involved in case studies, and staff should be prepared to explain their role, the impact of their work, and how they contribute to supporting children and families across the partnership.

Schools topical audit - Governance

The findings from Norfolk Audit Services' recent topical audit of governance arrangements (People and Structure) in local authority schools are now available. Governing bodies should review and discuss the audit outcomes, as evidence of this forms part of the Schools RAG rating requirements.

Perspective file request guidance for primary assessment submission

For all schools involved in primary assessment data submission of their EYFSP, Phonics and MTC results, the Data Team have produced detailed guidance on the process of Perspective File Request.
