Save the Date: Norfolk Virtual School annual conference

Can you help us to celebrate the achievements of our young people supported by Norfolk Virtual School?
Norfolk Virtual School look forward to welcoming Education and Social Care professionals across Norfolk to our annual conference on Wednesday 3 December 2025 at The John Innes Centre, Norwich. Our theme this year is 'Stepping into your Power' and we will be exploring how we can all 'step into our power' to ensure young people in care, previously in care, children with a Social Worker and children in Kinship care can achieve and have successful futures. Alongside talks from a range of educators across our county championing the achievements and inclusion of the Virtual School cohorts, our keynote speakers include Olympic Athlete Kriss Akabusi, Neurodiversity and Autism Speaker Alex Manners and Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon Rachael Hutchison. Tickets are fully-funded and can be booked here; Norfolk Virtual School Conference - Stepping into your power Tickets, Wed, Dec 3, 2025 at 8:30 AM | Eventbrite
We also look forward to sharing and celebrating the achievements of our young people in care, previously in care, children with a Social Worker and in Kinship care, and so we seek work to exhibit at our showcase event on the evening of Tuesday 2 December 2025. If you know of any young people who sit within our Norfolk Virtual School cohorts who are in Year 5 or above and who have created written, art or project work which can be showcased, please complete this Microsoft Form so that we can collect it for the event. The work can be anonymised but please ensure that before filling in the form you have the consent of the young person.
