Beyond Limits?

We are currently recruiting Alumni Mentors to support children in care and previously in care with their experience and advice. If you are a Norfolk care experienced young person who is 18+ and would like to tell others about your experiences and achievements, we would love to hear from you. Your experience may come from education, employment, training, volunteering, self-employment, enterprise activities, parenting and more.

Alumni Mentors will be trained over the summer, and they will fully be supported in this voluntary role. We will then launch the Beyond Limits Alumni Scheme in the autumn term 2025. Please read the job description (below) to see if you have what it takes to become a Beyond Limits Alumni Mentor.

As the Beyond Limits Alumni scheme grows, we will feature a range of stories of success and resilience from Norfolk care-experienced alumni mentors, who want to support others with similar life stories. This will be delivered through case studies and videos highlighting their experiences and achievements that they wish to share with others. Alumni mentors can be booked to speak to young people and adults in a range of settings such as schools, colleges and at conferences.
