Attendance Spotlight on Part-time Timetables

Part-time timetables can be a useful tool in supporting pupils with complex needs, but they must be used carefully, lawfully, and always in the best interests of the child. This webinar, taking place on Thursday, 22nd May, is designed to help school staff understand when and how part-time timetables may be appropriate, and what statutory guidance must be followed.
During the session, we will explore:
- The legal and safeguarding considerations around reduced timetables
- Scenarios where a part-time timetable might be considered
- The importance of clear planning, documentation, and review
- How to ensure decisions are made in partnership with families and other professionals
This is an opportunity to deepen your understanding, ask questions, and ensure your school's approach is both compliant and supportive of pupil wellbeing. Whether you're a headteacher, SENCO, pastoral lead, or Senior Attendance Champion, this session will provide clarity and confidence in navigating this complex area.
