Neurodiversity System Model Development Engagement

As a system in Norfolk, we are reviewing the way we support children and young people who are or may be neuro-diverse. As part of this work we will need to make some changes to the way we do things. Some of the things we are working on are:
- Development of a training package
- Development of an assessment tool supporting understanding a child's needs
- Re-organising how we offer support across our communities and our routes to diagnosis
We invite you to be part of the conversation to shape how we organise our support in our communities in Norfolk and to discuss our routes to diagnosis. We will be holding several in-person workshops during the week of 7 July 2025. These workshops have been developed and will be led by professionals from a range of backgrounds in our system. This work is a partnership approach to collaboratively work with all key stakeholders to develop a model of support for the future.
This initiative is led by Norfolk Community Health and Care (NCH&C) as part of Norfolk County Council's System Collaborative with Health, aiming to improve outcomes for children and families through stronger health and care partnerships.
