Information

As schools across Norfolk begin a new academic year, many will be engaging with pupils and families who speak little or no English. Ensuring these families can access key information and participate fully in school life is essential - not only for inclusion, but also for meeting safeguarding and equality responsibilities.

INTRAN, a not-for-profit partnership hosted by Norfolk County Council, provides professional interpreting and translation support tailored to the needs of schools. Services include face-to-face, telephone, video, and British Sign Language (BSL) interpretation, as well as written translation for documents such as policies, letters, and newsletters.

If your school is looking to strengthen communication with families who speak little or no English, we'd be happy to discuss how INTRAN can support you. For more information, contact [email protected] or visit www.intran.org
