Existing Staff and New Hire Recruitment Guide

Application Process for Schools: 

New Recruits

  1. Prior to recruitment
    Contact Norfolk County Council apprenticeship team on [email protected] to confirm the role you wish to recruit to and secure funding.
  2. Recruit as usual
    The NCC Apprenticeships Team may be able to support the vacancy advertising and will email you an information gathering form.
  3. When appointed
    Complete the Schools Information Gathering Form and email back to [email protected].  The NCC Apprenticeships Team will forward the details to the training provider and arrange the apprenticeship funding via NCC's digital account (DAS).
  4. Enrolment
    The training provider will make contact direct with the apprentice and their manager / mentor to complete the enrolment paperwork required for the apprenticeship.

Existing Employees 

  1. Your existing employee has a CPD requirement
    Contact [email protected] for advice on suitable apprenticeships and the Schools Expression of Interest form.
  2. Employee has identified a suitable apprenticeship
    Email the completed Schools Expression of Interest Form to [email protected] for approval and secure funding. 
  3. Request approved
    The NCC Apprenticeships Team will forward the apprentice's details to the training provider and arrange the apprenticeship funding via NCC's digital account (DAS). 
  4. Enrolment
    The training provider will make contact direct with the apprentice and their manager / mentor to complete the enrolment paperwork required for the apprenticeship
