Sign up to take part in the NSPCC's Kindness Challenge 2025
It's time to sign up to this year's Kindness Challenge, a week all about spreading kindness in school communities. Whether pupils help someone with homework or play games with new friends, it all helps create a better world.
Starting on 6 October 2025 (or the best time for your school), the Kindness Challenge is a week all about celebrating kindness in your school community.
Taking part in the NSPCC's Kindness Challenge supports schools' statutory duties by promoting safeguarding through the development of safe, respectful peer relationships. It aligns with RSHE by teaching children about empathy, emotional literacy, and respectful behaviour. The challenge also reinforces equalities by encouraging inclusive attitudes and celebrating diversity, helping all pupils feel seen and valued.
By taking part, you're also helping power Childline who are there for all young people online, on the phone, anytime.

"The Kindness Challenge was received so well across our school, including children, teachers and parents. It gave us the opportunity to make kindness the priority during our first term.
Kindness is so important and being able to promote it, using the NSPCC resources, was a great way to get the whole school talking about kindness and actively demonstrating it at playtimes and lunch times.
The children really got onboard with this initiative and were thrilled to be raising money at the same time."
- Emily Loveridge, Assistant Head Teacher, St Josephs, Sheffield
