Free workshop in supporting children and young people facing bereavement, loss and grief
Improve your skills and confidence in helping children and young people navigate serious illness, loss, grief, and bereavement.
The Healing Harbour Charity is offering a free workshop to educators in supporting children and young people facing bereavement, loss and grief. The workshop, which lasts 2.5 hours, will be kindly hosted at Gresham's School in Holt and is provided with support of the Hornsea 3 Community Fund.
It is being led by Lorna Vyse, Childhood Bereavement and Loss specialist (and children's author). Lorna has over 20 years of experience of working in children's loss and grief services. She has extensive experience of supporting grieving families, developing children's loss and bereavement support services and creating tailored training and resources.
Target audience: Educators (teachers, teaching assistants, tutors) working with children in North Norfolk
