Norfolk Transitions Framework development: a call for participation
Message from Alison Toombs, Assistant Director SEND & Inclusive Practice:
During Zone Inclusion Partnerships (ZIP) conversations with principals, headteachers and SENDCos last academic year, a call for some agreed ways of working regarding phase transfer transitions across Norfolk schools was heard loud and clear.
I took this to our CEO Forum in October who agreed with us to facilitate a working group that will bring this ambition to life. I'm delighted that Michelle Unstead, Director of Inclusive Learning for Sapientia MAT, has come forward to help lead the project.
Michelle and I presented at the Norfolk School Leaders Association meeting last Wednesday, and asked colleagues to use a QR code to tell us what they thought about the idea and if they would like to be involved in the working party. We're sharing the link again now to give a wider audience the opportunity to respond.
We have pencilled in a first workshop which can be attended either in person or virtually on Wednesday 21 January at 1pm; more details to follow. Please let us know if you can attend. If you can't attend, please express your interest in being involved or supporting the ambition by completing the form in the link above.
