Angles Maths Hub - Fully Funded Professional Development Opportunities for Exceptional Maths Teachers
Do you have an experienced teacher, with a passion for maths excellence, looking for career progression within your school?
Angles Maths Hub is offering fully funded training opportunities to exceptional maths teachers to become Local Leaders of Maths Education (LLME). These roles allow teachers to grow professionally while supporting the improvement of maths education both within your school and across the region.
These opportunities help schools to retain their best teachers, whilst allowing the teacher further development and career progression. Teachers also become part of a national network of maths education leaders led by the NCETM.
There are three different pathways to joining the community.
Mastery Specialist
Develop a deep understanding of the principles of mastery teaching within their own school and facilitate this development in other schools.
Professional Development Lead
Professional Development Lead: Develop a secure understanding of what constitutes effective PD (professional development) in terms of planning, executing and evaluating.
School Development Lead
School Development Lead: Develop leadership capability and capacity to support whole-school improvement in maths.
The average time commitment for these roles is between 5 and 15 days per year, depending on the role. Teacher release time is fully funded by the Maths Hub.
