For Staff

We are pleased to invite schools to our upcoming Attendance Spotlight sessions, taking place online this summer term. These briefings are designed to give schools valuable insights into services that support attendance, safeguarding, and pupil wellbeing across Norfolk.

Each session will begin at 10:30 am and last for approximately one hour. They are delivered via Microsoft Teams, and there is no need to pre-book—simply join using the link available on our website

  • Session 1 - Thursday 21 May 2026
We are delighted to welcome Steven Beales, Senior Child Employment and Entertainment Officer, who will provide an overview of his role and offer guidance on child employment law, including key responsibilities for schools and employers, and requirements relating to work permits and licensing.
  • Session 2 - Thursday 25 June 2026
Our June session features a guest speaker from YESS (Youth Early Support Service) in Norfolk. This session will highlight how YESS supports children and young people, outlining the services available and how schools can work alongside them to support pupils effectively.

These sessions are a great opportunity to stay informed, build connections with key services, and strengthen your school's attendance and safeguarding practice.

We look forward to having you join us.
