Reminder: Resources for Drowning Prevention Week (13-20 June)

The Norfolk Water Safety Forum created a resource pack aimed at children and young people ahead of this year's school summer holidays. 

Containing a lesson plan and links to a water safety video and age-specific activity and information sheets, it's something that the Forum hopes can be used across Norfolk, sharing key information about staying safe in and around the water. It's available online at Water safety resources on the Norfolk County Council website.
 
There is also information for parents and carers about water safety for children as the weather warms up and more of us head to the beach, the Broads and the county's other waterways.
