Booking is now OPEN for the Summer Early Years Communication Hubs
Did you know - After each release of the Norfolk Early Years Podcast, the Early Years Team hosts a follow-up Communication Hub meeting in six of our Norfolk districts?
These sessions are fully funded and open to all Norfolk early years practitioners, supporting professionals, and reception teachers. They're designed to build on the insights from the podcasts and support you to embed effective, sustainable communication strategies in your setting.
This term, we're delighted to welcome early years trainer and published author, Molly Potter, who will be joining us to explore 'Emotional Intelligence and Supporting Children's Behaviour'.
In this fascinating session, we will be exploring:
- What is emotional intelligence and why is it so important?
- How to increase emotional intelligence - in ourselves and the children we work with.
- The best tools to support children's behaviour and disregulation using emotional intelligence.
You will also have the opportunity to:
- Ask questions to our resident speech and language therapists
- Network with like-minded professionals
- Chat to your local Early Years Adviser and Improvement Development Worker
- Enjoy a relaxed evening of high quality CPD, alongside colleagues and peers.
To find out more and to reserve your space at one of our six meetings, please visit our Early Years learning and childcare Training webpage.
We look forward to welcoming you!
