Perspective Guidance

Guidance for schools on using Perspective and in particular File Requests for assessment data submission

Additional Users

All Norfolk Headteachers are set up as the Lead user for their School account, unless we have received a request to change th Lead User to another person in school. The Lead user is the only person who can set-up additional accounts for staff members in their school. The LA Data team are unable to do this.

Guidance on adding new users and managing access for your current school users, can be found in the the links below:

File Requests

  1. Log-in to Perspective
  2. From the home page, Click LA File Requests
  3. On the File Request Tab, choose your data return either EYFSP, Phonics or MTC, then Click Upload & Send.
  4. Search for your CTF/Excel file, via File Explorer on your drive or drag and drop the file into the upload section.
  5. Add any additional details or contextual information you would like the Data team to know, by typing in the Comment box.
  6.  Click Send to submit your file.
  7. Check back into the Perspective. If there is an issue with your data, you will receive a rejection notification within 2 working days, along with details of the error or issue with your file.
  8. If required, fix the error/issue as requested and resubmit your file following the steps above
