Graduated Approach including APDR
Ensuring that high-quality teaching is in place for all CYP means[SA1] that fewer CYP will require additional support. Where high-quality teaching is not meeting CYP's educational needs, settings need to put in place appropriate provision to remove barriers to learning. Settings' provision should be planned at a universal, targeted and enhanced level, with careful consideration given to the needs of the cohort within the setting. There should be systems in place to ensure that provision is regularly reviewed to take into account changing needs.
