FAO: All Primary and Secondary staff and governors , 4 July 2025 11:46
For Staff

Are you an EAL (English as an Additional Language) Lead who is new to the role or an experienced EAL Lead who wants to embed more effective provision across your school? Do you want to learn how to comply with the latest guidance and legislation, and deliver effective provision for your EAL learners? If so, these courses are for you.

EAL Now is for EAL Leads who are new to the role or looking for some professional development to develop their skills and knowledge. Based around our audit tool and action plan, delegates will leave with a comprehensive plan for EAL development and the tools and resources to develop and implement a whole-school approach action plan that enables you to measure progress and evidence impact.

EAL Next is for more experienced EAL Leads who want to embed more effective provision across the school, ensure staff can effectively monitor and assess learner progress, conduct targeted interventions and secure family engagement.

The courses will be delivered by experienced EAL Advisers, who will provide you with expert advice and support. You will also have the opportunity to network with other EAL Leads and share good practice.

Upcoming courses

The courses will run from 9:30 am to 4:00 pm and will include refreshments and lunch.
