Norfolk SACRE: InterFaith Week 2025 support for schools
Standing Advisory Council on Religious Education (SACRE) would like to support schools in engaging in Interfaith Week 2025 (9-16 November).
This is an ideal opportunity to teach pupils about the variety of religious faiths in the country, celebrate diversity, promote inclusivity and the importance of respectful dialogue. We encourage schools to take part in this celebration through assemblies, whole school activities and community partnerships. If this is something your school would like to get involved in, follow the link here.
To support colleagues in recognising how prejudice manifests and how to challenge it effectively, we are also sharing links to organisations that offer training on identifying and addressing antisemitism, Islamophobia, and other forms of prejudice that undermine the safety and inclusivity of our learning environments.
