Review of Norfolk's Speech and Language INDES (Identification of Needs Descriptors in Educational Settings)

Norfolk County Council is looking at ways to improve the Speech and Language section of the INDES tool (Identification of Needs Descriptors in Educational Settings).

We're reviewing this part of the tool to make it: 

• Easier to understand and use. 
• More consistent across different settings. 
• Better at showing how children's needs change and develop over time. 
• More closely linked to what you see and do in real-life situations. 

We've already gathered some initial feedback from professionals, which has helped us identify areas where the statements could be clearer or more consistent. Now, we're keen to hear directly from all school colleagues, whose insights are essential to making sure the tool works well in everyday practice. 

The feedback form is short and should take no more than 5 minutes to complete. It's a chance to tell us what works well and what could be improved.
