Workshop invitation: Serious Violence Duty - from risk factors to protective factors
Join us for a virtual, interactive session designed for Designated Safeguarding Leads (DSLs) in education.
The Serious Violence Duty is reshaping how we understand and prevent violence in our communities. Our recent Shared Dataset Project has identified critical insights into risk and protective factors for violence prevention locally.
In this workshop, you will:
- Hear from the Serious Violence Programme Lead and Analytical Lead as they share the project's findings, with a focus on education.
- Take part in a collaborative discussion to identify:
- Strengths - what's already working well in your setting.
- Gaps - where challenges remain.
- Needs - what support, tools, or partnerships would support you to respond effectively to the findings.
This is an opportunity to shape the next steps, share best practice, and continue education's leading role in preventing serious violence.
Date and time: 4 February 2026, 2-3pm
Location: Microsoft Teams
Register: Please book your place via S4S Norfolk at Serious Violence Duty - From Risk Factors to Protective Factors: a Workshop for Education | Norfolk Services for Schools.
