Safer Recruitment training: Dates available

As we informed you in the news item published in September 2025, the delivery of Safer Recruitment training will move from Norfolk Governor Services to the Education Safeguarding Team this academic year. 

As per 'Keeping Children Safe in Education' (2025), governing bodies and proprietors should ensure that those involved with the recruitment and employment of staff to work with children have received appropriate safer recruitment training, the substance of which should at a minimum cover the content of part 3 of the guidance. 

This training should be updated every 5 years.

Thank you to those who completed the survey to give your views on Safer Recruitment training as per the request in the news item. These findings have been analysed and there are currently two training dates available to book on S4S at a cost of £205.
