Supporting children following trauma or a traumatic bereavement

It is estimated that 1 in 4 children have experienced a traumatic event that can affect their learning and/or their behaviour (National Child Traumatic Stress Network).

School staff should be aware of children and young people who have experienced traumatic events or a traumatic bereavement, and discuss with their parents/carers the needs of the children.

Please do contact us for support and guidance.
