Understanding How Education Staff Support The Psychological Adjustment of Siblings of Children with Cancer

Research focus and aim

The research focuses on how siblings of children with cancer are supported in primary schools.

The aim is to help build a better understanding of what is currently happening in schools to better support the staff who are at the heart of the children's experiences.

Participant criteria

They would like to hear from you if:

  • You currently work in a primary school, or have worked in a primary school in the last two years
  • You have had a role in supporting a sibling of a child with cancer
  • The sibling was of primary school age (6-11)
  • At the time of offering the support, the child with cancer was alive
  • You are over 18
  • You speak fluent English

What the role involves

  • You would be invited to take part in an online interview lasting approximately 60-90 minutes.
  • If you are interested in taking part, you will be sent additional information.
  • As a token of appreciation for your time, you will receive a £10 Love to Shop or Amazon voucher.
