For Staff

Norwich Theatre has launched an exciting new programme of school packages and partnerships, designed to bring high-quality arts, culture and career inspiration directly into classrooms across the region.

Developed in response to the evolving needs of schools, the offer provides flexible options ranging from one-off creative workshops to longer-term partnerships spanning several years. Each programme is carefully aligned with the national curriculum and places a strong emphasis on developing pupils' confidence, communication and wider 'soft skills'—supporting both academic and personal growth.

Alongside pupil-focused provision, a strengthened Teacher CPD offer sits at the heart of this programme—supporting staff to develop practical, classroom-ready approaches through the arts.

Spotlight on CPD opportunities

Spotlight on school programmes

  • Primary: Play in a Day
An immersive experience where pupils collaborate to create and perform a play in just one day—building confidence, teamwork and creativity.
  • Secondary: Confidence and Collaboration
A dynamic programme designed to develop communication, resilience and collaborative skills through theatre-based approaches.

Schools that book four or more packages will be recognised as School Partners, unlocking additional benefits. These include membership of the Teacher Network, invitations to exclusive Norwich Theatre events, regular strategic engagement with the Creative Learning team, and access to opportunities through national partner organisations and touring companies.

This new programme represents a valuable opportunity for Norfolk schools to enrich their curriculum, support staff development and inspire young people through meaningful engagement with the arts.
