Call for feedback to inform development work - Ordinarily Available Provision (OAP) and PEaSS

FAO: All professionals in education settings , 21 April 2026 08:58
Information

As part of Local First Inclusion Project 2 (Ordinarily Available Provision plus ESP Process Development), we are undertaking a review of the tools available to support settings in shaping their inclusive provision as part of their Ordinarily Available Provision.  These documents are the Early Years OAP (Ordinarily Available Provision) (PDF, 1 MB) and the PEaSS (Provision expected at SEN support).

To ensure we are effectively supporting all phases of education, from Early Years through to Post-16, these tools will be reshaped into one consistent resource to support professionals across all educational settings.

To help us ensure that the resource is as helpful as possible for settings, we have created a short survey to help collect your feedback.  Please could we ask that you share the link widely with your colleagues (including leaders, teachers and support staff) so that we can gather as much feedback as possible to help inform our development work.

OAP and PEaSS Setting Survey - Fill in form

Both the OAP and PEaSS are documents that parents/carers are able to access to support them in having positive provision discussions with their child/ren's setting/s.  Listening to our families is very important to us, so we have developed a separate survey to gather parent/ carer feedback about these tools.  Please could we ask that you share the link below widely with your parents and carers to help further inform our development work.

OAP and PEaSS Parent/Carer Survey - Fill in form

The deadline for completing the surveys is 12 June 2026, and we will share the findings of the surveys with you in due course.

Many thanks in advance for your support.
