- Katie Griffiths - Attendance and Entitlement Manager (NCC)
Katie will share her expertise on attendance and the use of part time timetables.
- Emma Webb - Deputy Headteacher at Dereham Neatherd
An opportunity to hear about Dereham Neatherd High School's response to an increasing issue with pupil absence relating to a social, emotional and mental health need. The Bridge is a graduated internal alternative provision for pupils with significant SEMH needs, unified with the main school. The aim of the Bridge is to support pre-identified pupils to attend school, to attend mainstream lessons, and to access support for wellbeing, belonging and attainment.
- Darleen Grimsby - Trust SENDCo and Inclusion Officer at Unity Education Trust
Darleen will look at how we can ensure pupil voice is reliable, meaningful and embedded within practice when working with CYP with complex needs. She will also consider how professionals can be confident the information they are receiving is authentic and representative of a CYP's experience.
