Virtual School fully funded opportunity: Language for Behaviour and Emotion
The Virtual School is providing a fully funded opportunity to access the 2-day training to equip staff to deliver the whole school approaches and interventions.
What is it?
Language for behaviour and emotion is a scenario based intervention designed by speech and language therapists to support young people (primarily upper Key Stage 2 and Key Stage 3) who have SEMH and SCLN.
There is a focus on specific skills that are linked to behaviour, such as understanding meaning, verbal reasoning and emotional literacy skills - the programme comes with sixty scenarios and a full suite of assessment tools that support not only individuals but can also be used to support whole school approaches around SLCN.
