Disclosure & Barring Service: Increase to Route 2 ID check fees

Norfolk County Council (NCC) has recently been informed by its Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) provider of upcoming changes to the Route 2 ID check fees.

From 17th June 2026, there is an increased charge, and the new fee has changed from £2.75 to £3.00 per check (excluding VAT).

Applications submitted and processed by end of the working day on 16th June 2026 will still be processed under the current fee charge of £2.75.
