Enhanced SEND Provision (ESP) Networks 2026-2027 Primary and Secondary settings

FAO: SLT, SENDCos, Teachers and TAs , 11 June 2026 18:07
Information

ESPs are school-run group provisions that can be teacher-led or overseen by a teacher, SENDCo and SLT.

They provide an adapted and bespoke curriculum to meet the needs of individuals, to ensure children thrive in mainstream education.

They are temporary, responsive interventions rather than permanent specialist SEN provisions and are implemented with the support of the Zone Team to meet the specific needs of a school's cohort.

Their ultimate aim is to enable children to access the mainstream offer as part of the setting's graduated response.

Any school with an enhanced provision or planning one, will be able to access the ESP Network offer which provides opportunities for continuous professional development, sharing best practice, collaboration on common challenges and the sharing of ideas and solutions.

All Norfolk mainstream schools are welcome to attend, and places will be allocated on a first come basis.

The focus for ESP network meetings for the next academic year is based on support requested by settings through surveys and discussions.

The Network offer consists of five meetings over the academic year as detailed below. Settings can access as many sessions as they require.

Further information and booking is via S4S Training & Events website.
