Primary Data Submission - Perspective Lite "File Request"

In the first week of June all registered  maintained schools, academies (including free schools) and special schools (including maintained special schools and special academies) will receive a notification via email, to submit their Early Years Foundation Stage Profile (EYFSP), Phonics Screening Check (PSC) and Multiplication Tables Check (MTC) data to the Local Authority, via Perspective Lite. Deadlines and further information on data submission was previously shared in May, these details are available on Primary Assessment submission and on Perspective File Request

When a File Request for Data Submission is issued, a notification will be sent to the Headteacher registered on Perspective Lite. They can then access the request through the Send Files section from the Home page in Perspective Lite. If the Headteacher has assigned the roles of Assessment Lead or School Admin to other staff members, those individuals will also be notified and granted access to the File Request. Only the Headteacher and those assigned as Assessment Lead and School Admin will be able to view the File Request and therefore submit the data to the LA. These will not be visible to other Perspective users in your school.  

The Headteacher can set up additional accounts for staff members to be able to access Perspective Lite; step by step guidance is available on Setting up your Users - Perspective Lite. When setting up new users, the Headteacher needs to consider the type of access for the staff member. If the Headteacher has not assigned the roles of  'School Admin' and/or 'Assessment Lead', step by step guidance is available on Roles - Perspective Lite. We would also recommend the Headteacher assigns the roles of 'EYFS Lead', 'Phonics Lead' and 'MTC Lead' in order that these members of staff receive any future notifications for these assessments. (We are aware that, in many schools, the same person may be assigned to one or more of roles.)
