Reminder: Attendance Data Sharing & Statutory Returns Webinar Tomorrow

FAO: Headteachers, Data managers, Senior Attendance Champions and Attendance Officers , 13 October 2025 16:26
Action

In line with regulation 13 of The School Attendance (Pupil Registration) (England) Regulations 2024, all schools are required to share attendance data with both the Local Authority and the Department for Education. Norfolk's live attendance data feed, in place since 2019, helps reduce administrative burden by automatically extracting relevant pupil data from your MIS to populate the LA's Education Management Information System.

To ensure compliance, schools must maintain this live link and notify the LA of any changes to their MIS. If you haven't already, please complete this short form to update your MIS details and key contact for attendance data returns.

As part of the data collection process, schools will receive weekly query spreadsheets via AnyComms+. These must be reviewed and responded to within 5 working days to ensure data accuracy.

To support schools in understanding this process, a webinar will be held tomorrow - Wednesday 15 October 2025 at 11am. You can access the session via this link.
